Clarity
Know the goal of a session and how it relates to your football, without being buried in jargon.
I’m Connor Dixon. I started Pitch Performance to help footballers in Leeds make sense of strength and conditioning and put it to work alongside the game they already play.
I’m a qualified Level 4 Strength & Conditioning Coach, Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 2 Gym Instructor. I’m interested in how strength, speed, power and movement work can support the real demands of football.
I look at the player in front of me: their position, level, team training, fixtures, gym experience and life outside football. Then we agree a manageable plan and make sure they know what they’re doing and why.
My training philosophy starts with strong foundations: good movement, sound technique and a plan that progresses when the athlete is ready. Strength, speed and power work should serve a clear purpose, with enough flexibility to fit team sessions, match days and recovery. I want players to understand the work and feel confident carrying it out.
Useful coaching and good communication matter to me. I’m building my first Pitch Performance client base, so you’ll get an honest conversation about what I can offer and whether it suits your goals.
